Yap, FSM- The Road and Ground team at the Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T) demonstrated dedication and efficiency in recent efforts to improve infrastructure in Yap State. On March 28th, 2024, the Road and Grounds team completed road repairs in Yinuf, Rull, spanning from Yap High School (YHS) to the road’s endpoint, ensuring smoother and safer travel for residents.
Between all roadwork projects, the team continued to multitask and addressed other various projects. These included reinforcing the sea wall in Gilman, enhancing road accessibility near the YCA Apartments in Milroq, Weloy, and even clearing trees obstructing the YSPSC electricity line from the dumpsite in Dalipebinaw to Mabuu, Weloy, to enhance Yap’s infrastructure.
