Colonia, Yap - On Thursday, February 9th, 2024, Yap State officials, including representatives from protocol, police force, Aircraft Rescue & Fire Fighting(ARFF), and customs & immigration, were present to facilitate the arrival of the United States Marine aircraft VMGR-153 via Guam. On board were eight crew members, tasked with delivering three crates filled with donated books from Cope North Operation AYUDA for the Department of Education(DOE).
While grounded, the aircraft crew members allowed ARFF personnel to explore the aircraft interior, providing insights and familiarization into its operational functions.
