Yap, FM – The Department of Foreign Affairs of the Federated States of Micronesia is notifying the public about two upcoming visits by U.S. teams to Yap State. One team from the U.S. military will be conducting ASVAB testing for students interested in joining the Armed Services from May 1 to May 4, 2025. Another team from the U.S. National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) will be in Yap from April 20 to April 30, 2025, conducting LiDAR surveys to collect hydrographic data on the coastal areas for navigation purposes.
