Waab Taguw Day Postponed to August 31st: Do You Enjoy Singing? DYCA and R&D Seeking Singer

Yap, FSM— The Waab Taguw Day, also known as World Tuna Day, has been rescheduled to August 30th and 31st, 2024. This event is spearheaded by DYCA and R&D with Deputy Director of R&D Alex YowBlaaw as Chairman, (DYCA) Youth Service Chief John Waayan Fillmed as Vice Chairman, and Yap State Treasurer Michelle Chugen as the Finance Officer.

 

The Waab Taguw Day Core Committee is currently seeking a talented individual aged 10 years old or younger to sing the national anthem for the event. The selected individual will be compensated. Further details will be provided as the committee continues its preparations for the Waab Taguw Day aka World Tuna Day.
