Yap, FSM – Residents of Yap should be prepared for scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms tomorrow. According to the National Weather Service, tomorrow’s forecast expects partly sunny skies with northeast winds blowing at 10 to 15 mph. Temperatures are expected to reach highs around 87°F, with a 30 percent chance of showers. If you are planning to go to garden or taropatch tomorrow, wear your rainboots as heavy rain is expected. And if you have plans to get betelnut or gabuy for your market, bring a raincoat or wear goggles from the rain.
As we move into the night, Thursday night will bring mostly cloudy skies with continued scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Winds will become light and variable, and lows are expected around 78°F. The chance of showers will remain at 30 percent, with daytime highs expected to reach 88°F.
