Yap, FSM - According to the National Weather Service, tomorrow’s forecast expects mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms throughout the day. Light and variable winds are forecast, with temperatures ranging from lows around 78°F to highs near 88°F. There is a 30 percent chance of showers.


As we shift into the evening, tomorrow night will continue to see mostly cloudy conditions with a slight chance of thunderstorms. Temperatures will remain in the upper 70s, and the chance of showers will persist at 30 percent. So, if you are planning to go to the taro patch or go fishing tomorrow, make sure to bring a raincoat. 


The tide schedule for tomorrow is as follows: 

  • High Tide: 9:12 AM at 5.77 feet and 9:20 PM at 5.58 feet

  • Low Tide: 2:49 AM at 1.18 feet and 3:04 PM at 1.57 feet


As the weather seems calmer, tomorrow's ocean tide in the morning till lunch is ideal for swimming or if you enjoy fishing. Then by lunchtime, it's a good time to go clam hunting by the shore.

Residents are advised to stay updated on weather and tide conditions and prepare for potential rainfall and thunderstorms throughout the day.
