Yap, FSM— According to the Yap Weather Service Office, today’s forecast expects mostly cloudy skies with a 40% chance of showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms. With 40% chance of rainfall, please be sure to carry a raincoat when going to the taro patch and stay informed about weather updates. Light and variable winds will prevail, with highs around 88°F. Wind waves will be 2 feet or less, and east swell will be 3 feet.


Tonight's forecast calls for mostly cloudy conditions with a 40% chance of showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms. Lows will be in the upper 70s.


Then for tomorrow, Yap's tide schedule will feature low tides at 3:25 AM, with a height of 0.0 feet, and 3:38 PM, with a height of approximately 1.31 feet. High tides will occur at 9:07 AM and 10:09 PM, both reaching about 2.62 feet. So tomorrow is the best time to go clam hunting at the shore.
