Yap, FM - Last week, there were no new alerts or serious health threats reported. All health syndromes remain at a "No Alert" status. While there has been a slight increase in Influenza Like Illness (ILI), the number of cases is still below the threshold that would raise concern. The total number of syndromic cases reported this week includes 14 cases of ILI, 4 cases of diarrhea, and 2 cases of Dengue Like Illness (DLI).
There were no reported cases of Acute Fever and Rash (AFR), Prolonged Fever, Severe Acute Respiratory Illness (SARI), or unusual events this week. Syndromic data was collected from several sentinel sites, including the OPD Main Hospital, Eauripik Dispensary, and Tegailap Dispensary. In terms of laboratory findings, various pathogens were detected, including Hepatitis B and C, MRSA, and several types of Staphylococcus bacteria. Health authorities continue to monitor and respond to these conditions as part of ongoing public health efforts.
