Keng, Weloy – According to the last sitrep report by the Yap State Department of Health Services (Yap DHS) there were a total of 18 Influenza-like Illness cases reported. As of February 22, 2024, the number of Influenza-like Illness (ILI) cases reported has decreased to 10.
The number of Diarrhea cases reported has also decreased to 4 and remains below the threshold.
There were no alerts regarding all syndromes and no cases seen regarding Acute Fever and Rash, Prolonged Fever, Dengue like Illness, SARI and Unusual Events, however Sexually Transmitted Infections are being reported.
