Yap, FSM – The Yap State Court has issued its traffic citation report for July 2024, revealing a total of 58 pcs traffic citations for various violations. The report underscores the importance of road safety and compliance with traffic regulations within the state.

Key violations for the month include:

  • Negligent Driving: 44 citations

  • Reckless Driving: 25 citations

  • Expired Vehicle Registration: 11 citations

  • Failure to Possess a Driver's License: 18 citations

  • Faulty Tail Lamp: 14 citations

  • Disobeying Traffic Signs: 11 citations

  • Unsafe passing: 4 citations

  • Improper Signaling: 8 citations

  • Failure to Yield: 3 citations

  • Speeding: 6 citations

  • Improper display of Plates: 2 citations

  • Faulty Headlamp: 3 citations

  • Light Equipment: 3 citations

  • Illegal Parking: 2 citations

  • Disobeying Police:  2 citations

  • License Expired:   7 citations

  • No Driver License: 4 citations

  • No Registration Card: 5 citations
