Colonia, Yap— The Yap State Public Library hosted a series of engaging events this summer, beginning with a visit from the Public Health team on June 25, 2024. The Human Trafficking Office followed with an informative session on June 28. On the morning of July 3, the Nutrition and Land Grant CRE shared insights on healthy living, while the Home Economics class from Yap High School(YHS) took over in the afternoon. The festivities continued on July 4, with Seventh Day Adventist(SDA) English teachers leading lively reading activities for children aged 6-7, fostering a love for literature among the young attendees. SDA English teachers returned on July 11, 2024, for sessions with older children, rounding out an eventful summer of learning and community engagement.
