Yap State Reports 19 Criminal Cases in July, Highlighting Law Enforcement's Commitment to Justice

Yap, FSM– In the last month, July 2024, the State of Yap jurisdiction witnessed a total of 18 felony cases, as well as one juvenile case, and seven disposed cases.


The charges against these individuals include cases of Driving Under the Influence (D.U.I.), charges of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, and Contempt of Court.


The processing of these cases reflects the concerted efforts of law enforcement in maintaining public safety and upholding the rule of law in Yap State.  These statistics underscore the ongoing commitment of law enforcement agencies to uphold public safety and administer justice within the community.
