Yap, FM -YDOE Expresses Gratitude to UNICEF and Global Partnership for Education for Donating Radios to Outer Island ECE Centres

The Department of Education (YDOE) of the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) thanks UNICEF and the Global Partnership for Education for donating 18 ICOM Marine radios to connect Early Childhood Education (ECE) centers on remote outer islands with the main office in Colonia. 

These radios will make it easier to communicate with teachers, children, and communities, even during bad weather or natural disasters when other communication methods might not work. The radios were selected for their reliability and practicality.

This support is part of FSM’s ongoing effort to provide all children with access to quality early childhood education, no matter where they live.
