Colonia, Yap - The Committee of Government Health and Welfare of the 11th Legislature of the State of Yap held a public hearing on Monday, April 15th, 2024, concerning Gov. Comm. No. 11-210, which pertained to the nomination for the new Director of the Department of Health Services(DHS), as submitted by the Governor.
The public hearing took place at the Legislature Chamber at 10:00 am. Witnesses in attendance included Governor Charles Chieng, Vice Speaker Theodore Rutun, Floor Leader Terrance Fong, Senator Victor Bamog, Senator Gabriel Ramoloilug, and nominee Mr. Theophilus Thinnifel. In addition, the Council of Pilung(COP) member James Limar and Administrative Officer (AO) Brian Ramngen.
